I'm pleased to welcome you to the College of Nursing website at the University of Babylon, where you'll find information on the college's programmes and activities. The College of Nursing / University of Babylon was established in 2007 to be a link within the system of colleges of the medical group in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / University of Babylon to be a major tributary of the qualified national university nursing staff capable of dealing with all acute and chronic cases of acute and chronic illness efficiently and with high quality at all three levels of health care (preventive, curative, and rehabilitative).

This march continued and developed quickly through study plans targeted at enhancing the quality of educational outputs capable of handling scientific breakthroughs and current technology.

The first of Bachelor of Science in nursing programme graduated in 2011 to provide the Iraqi health labour market with nursing leaders who can manage, treat, and make the right decision when dealing with various pathological conditions through correct scientific analysis, critical thinking, and the use of scientific research outputs and results in the nursing process.

The college aspires to increase the scientific level of its academic and research curricula as well as its local and international scientific reputation in keeping with the university's vision, philosophy, and mission, combined with active university administration that supplies all needs in a unique scientific style.
