The College of Nursing, under the auspices of Professor Dr. Amin Ajeel Yasser, held a scientific symposium in collaboration with the Babylon Health Department's Department of Public Health. The symposium focused on the concepts of gender and human rights and was delivered by Ms. Wasan Abbas Jawad. The topics covered included domestic violence, psychological, social, and economic pressures faced by individuals, discrimination, and negative consequences resulting from family members. The symposium also discussed appropriate solutions and ways of cooperation with relevant parties to ensure appropriate solutions, including the rights of the individual regardless of gender and providing necessary protection for all family members. The event was a great success and provided valuable insights into these important issues.
